JetBlue is gearing up for the holiday travel season with exciting new offerings designed to enhance the flying experience. Stephanie Evans Greene, JetBlue’s senior vice president of marketing and brand, emphasized the airline’s commitment to creating a festive atmosphere for travelers. She stated, “This winter, we’re turning up the holiday spirit with a few thoughtful touches,” ensuring that flying with JetBlue feels more like a celebration rather than just a journey.
One of the standout additions is the introduction of Blue Charms, a trendy pop-in charm for shoes and bags. Available in two styles—the Wings Blue Charm and the Spotlight Tailfin Blue Charm—these keepsakes will be distributed upon request to both children and adults, reminiscent of the popular JetBlue wings pins.
In a move that caters to entertainment tastes, JetBlue has become the first airline to feature episodes of the new CBS crime drama “Boston Blue,” a spin-off of the beloved series “Blue Bloods.” Additionally, travelers will find a festive assortment of holiday films available on seatback entertainment screens. Classic favorites like “A Christmas Story,” “Elf,” and “Home Alone,” as well as charming rom-coms such as “A Merry Royal Christmas” will provide enjoyable viewing options during flights.
Looking ahead to the new year, passengers will have access to JetBlue’s Fresh Start entertainment collection, including titles like “Eat Pray Love” and “Soul”, alongside nostalgic films like “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Jurassic Park.”
JetBlue isn’t just revamping its entertainment; the airline is also enhancing its menu options in partnership with Charlie Bird restaurant in SoHo, NYC. Premium Mint passengers can indulge in seasonal dishes such as Salted Greek yogurt with pumpkin seed granola, Pork shoulder with figs, and Mushroom lasagna. Economy class passengers will enjoy selections from Dig Inn, featuring delicious offerings like overnight oats and pesto pasta salad, on routes to and from Europe.
Additionally, JetBlue is expanding its footprint in South Florida, confirming over 25 flights through Fort Lauderdale with its premium Mint service. This expansion emphasizes the airline’s commitment to providing more transcontinental lie-flat seats from South Florida than any other carrier, further cementing JetBlue’s position as a leading player in the airline market.
With these fresh flavors, engaging entertainment options, and a clear commitment to enhancing customer experience, JetBlue is poised to make this holiday travel season a memorable one for its passengers.
