Fiji Rugby 7s legend Jerry Tuwai has been appointed as the official Tournament Ambassador for the 2026 McDonald’s Coral Coast Fiji 7s. Tuwai, a two-time Olympic gold medallist and former World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year, is set to not only take on the ambassador role but also return to the rugby field as the captain of the McDonald’s Mike Friday Select 7s team.
During this exciting tournament, Tuwai will also be honored with an induction into the prestigious RugbyTown Walk of Fame. Tournament Founding Chairman Jay Whyte highlighted the significance of Tuwai’s presence, stating, “Jerry Tuwai is really the embodiment of excellence in the game of rugby.
