Jaguars Injury Updates Ahead of Week 13 Titans Clash

Happy Thanksgiving!

On Thursday afternoon, the Jacksonville Jaguars took to the practice field, gearing up for their Week 13 clash against the Tennessee Titans. As the team prepared, they were mindful of several players still working through injuries and a few who had recently sustained additional bumps and bruises.

In their previous game in Week 12, the Jaguars were already short-handed, missing pivotal contributors such as starting nickel defensive back Jourdan Lewis (neck), defensive end Travon Walker (knee), right tackle Anton Harrison (knee/ankle), and wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle). Additionally, backup tight end Hunter Long and linebacker Yasir Abdullah were sidelined due to injuries.

The good news this week is that the team is optimistic about the potential return of some key players. Lewis, Harrison, and Long all participated fully in practice for the first time in several weeks on Wednesday. However, the session was relatively light, as players practiced in baseball caps rather than full gear. Abdullah was limited in his participation.

This week, the injury report also noted new concerns, including cornerback Christian Braswell (hamstring), linemen Chuma Edoga (calf) and Patrick Mekari (concussion), defensive end Danny Striggow (knee), and safety Antonio Johnson (elbow).

As the Jaguars prepare for their upcoming game, they remain hopeful that the reinforcements will aid their efforts as they face the Titans. The team’s resilience and commitment to recovery provide an encouraging outlook for fans as they look forward to the game and the remainder of the season.
