The narrative of “True Threat” centers around Special Forces operative Vernon Threat, portrayed by Majors, who embarks on a quest for revenge following the tragic murder of his son at the hands of Harlem’s notorious Apollo Kids gang. Cargill will take on the role of Meeka, a significant lieutenant within the Apollo Kids and one of the film’s main antagonists.
