Jack White Takes a Stand: Legal Action Against Trump’s Music Misuse!

Jack White, the lead singer of The White Stripes, has condemned Donald Trump’s campaign, labeling it as “fascists,” and has threatened legal action following the unauthorized use of his song “Seven Nation Army” in a pro-Trump social media video.

The video, shared by Trump’s deputy director of communications, Margo Martin, features a short clip of Trump boarding a plane for campaign events, with the band’s music playing in the background. White expressed his anger, joining a growing list of musicians who have protested the use of their music by Trump’s campaign.

In a post on Instagram, White stated: “Don’t even think about using my music you fascists. Law suit coming from my lawyers about this (to add to your 5 thousand others.) Have a great day at work today Margo Martin.”

This conflict follows a recent demand from the Swedish band ABBA, who requested that Trump cease using their music after several of their songs were played at a campaign rally. Other notable artists who have voiced their objections to the use of their music by Trump or his team include Céline Dion, Beyoncé, Johnny Marr of The Smiths, the family of the late soul singer Isaac Hayes, and the estate of the late Irish pop star Sinéad O’Connor.
