She reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to collaborating in essential areas such as agriculture, climate change, infrastructure development, capacity building, and investment. Responding to Haskel’s remarks, Kuridrani recognized the importance of their mutual ties and expressed the Ministry’s dedication to strengthening relationships with Israel to enhance Fiji’s agricultural productivity and resilience through knowledge sharing and innovation.
This visit is part of a growing trend to bolster diplomatic relations between Fiji and Israel, characterized by recent high-level talks aimed at increasing cooperation in various sectors, including security, environmental sustainability, and economic development. The collaboration is expected to yield significant benefits, particularly in improving food security and cultivating a more resilient agricultural framework in Fiji.
