Inside Love Island’s Enigmatic Villa: Rentals, Secrets, and Stunning Transformations!

The iconic Love Island Villa has become a central figure in the reality series, witnessing the highs and lows of contestants over its ten seasons. Located on the picturesque Spanish island of Mallorca, the Villa’s filming locations have changed throughout the years.

Initially, the show filmed in Santayni for its first two seasons. However, since 2017, production has taken place in the scenic rural area of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. Most recently, for series eight in 2022, the show moved to a new Villa named Sa Vinyassa. This location is notably rural, with the nearest towns being Artà and Manacor, enhancing the island vibe that fans have come to love.

Each season brings fresh renovations to the Villa; this year, for example, the addition of a stylish hammock over the pool area adds a touch of elegance.

For those who dream of experiencing the villa beyond the screen, it is available for holiday rentals when not in use for the show, accommodating up to 12 guests in its six bedrooms and six bathrooms. However, the Villa appears to be fully booked for the next two years, heightening the allure for fans.

Notably, while viewers see the Islanders confined to limited amenities during filming, the Villa offers several extra comforts not depicted, such as two lounges and a proper kitchen, as well as outdoor facilities including a shower and BBQ, which prompts a fun question: Why don’t we get to see BBQ nights on the show?

As Love Island continues to entertain its audience, the Villa remains a beloved part of the show’s charm and allure, contributing to the series’ ongoing success on ITV2 and ITVx.
