Livingstone, a 6-foot-4, 191-pound redshirt freshman, showed promising talent during his time at Texas. In the recent season, he participated in 13 games, making 29 receptions for 516 yards and scoring six touchdowns. Additionally, he demonstrated his versatility by throwing a touchdown pass. Despite having minimal impact as a true freshman in 2024, where he appeared in just four games without recording stats, his performance this past season has attracted attention from various programs.
Originally from Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas, Livingstone entered college football as a highly-rated 4-star recruit, ranked as the No. 270 overall player in the 2024 class. He received offers from prestigious programs, including Georgia, Michigan, Texas A&M, and Oregon.
In a recent social media post, Livingstone expressed the unexpected nature of his transfer, highlighting circumstances beyond his control that prompted his decision to enter the portal. He stated, “Never in a million years did I think I would be going into the portal looking for a new home. Some things are out of my control. Such is the reality of the ever-changing landscape of college football. Emptied my tank every day for this great university, my teammates & all the good folks of Texas. Grateful.”
