Indiana Fever’s Clark and Boston Named to USA Basketball Training Camp Roster

The Indiana Fever are building on their recent playoff success, having advanced to the semifinals of the WNBA playoffs last season. Impressively, the Fever achieved this milestone without contributions from key players Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Aari McDonald, Sydney Colson, and Chloe Bibby.

In her first season back with the team, head coach Stephanie White led her squad with determination and resilience. As the offseason continues, the coaching staff and players are not only taking a well-deserved break, but are also putting in extra effort to prepare for the next season.

Recently, the Fever announced some exciting news involving White, Clark, and forward Aliyah Boston. The team shared on social media that both Boston and Clark have been selected for the USA Basketball Women’s National Team training camp roster. White will contribute as a court coach alongside head coach Kara Lawson. The announcement was met with enthusiasm, showcasing the growing talent within the team.

The training camp is set to take place at Duke University from December 12 to 14 and will include Clark and Boston alongside 16 other players. Notable participants will include members of the USA gold-medal team from the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, such as Kahleah Copper, Brittney Griner, Kelsey Plum, and Jackie Young. The roster also features emerging talents making their national team debuts, including Lauren Betts, Paige Bueckers, Cameron Brink, Angel Reese, Juju Watkins, and others.

This development reflects the Fever’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering growth within their ranks. With preparations underway, the franchise and its players are poised for a promising future as they continue to shine on both the national and international basketball stages.
