India and Fiji have officially extended their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on agricultural cooperation for an additional five years. This agreement was confirmed in New Delhi during a meeting between India’s Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Fiji’s Minister for Agriculture and Waterways, Tomasi Tunabuna.
During the meeting, Chouhan highlighted the enduring relationship between India and Fiji, marked by mutual respect and strong cultural ties. The renewed MoU aims to establish a Joint Working Group focused on enhancing cooperation in agriculture and food security.
