Howard Stern has recently clarified his relationship with Oprah Winfrey, dispelling any notions of animosity between the two. During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Stern made it clear that he has a fondness for Winfrey, stating, “No, I love Oprah,” in response to Cohen’s suggestion that she might be considered an enemy.

Much to the surprise of Cohen, who inquired about Stern’s perceived feuds, the radio host expressed his admiration for Winfrey and admitted to regularly enjoying her show, The Oprah Winfrey Show. When asked if he had ever met her, Stern revealed, “Never.” He also provided an insight into his perspective on why a meeting has not yet occurred, implying that Winfrey may be apprehensive about encountering him. He shared a conversation he had with Winfrey’s close friend, Gayle King, suggesting they should get together but emphasizing, “You better check with Oprah. You better. Don’t surprise her with me.”

Over the years, Stern has not shied away from being critical of Winfrey, especially regarding her portrayal of wealth on social media. He previously accused her of showcasing her riches without hesitation, describing her as being potentially unaware of how her displays might be perceived.

While Stern continues to express his admiration, Winfrey has yet to publicly respond to his comments about her, leaving some ambiguity in their dynamic. Nevertheless, Stern’s reassuring words reflect a shift towards a more positive dialogue, moving away from past criticisms to a sentiment of appreciation for the iconic media figure.
