Hot Bread Kitchen (HBK) celebrated the grand opening of its 26th outlet at the Arts Village complex in Deuba last week, marking an exciting expansion for the popular bakery. This new location, developed in collaboration with the Damodar Group, not only enhances the community’s access to fresh baked goods but also becomes the third HBK outlet situated within a Damodar Group property, following successful openings in Damodar City Suva and Labasa.

Vanessa Charters, group director of HBK, emphasized the unique nature of the community, stating, “This is our first and probably only shop to operate 24 hours because we recognize the unique nature of the local community, and the hours one must keep to live in this idyllic setting.” The commitment to serve both local villages and the wider public indicates HBK’s intention to cater to the diverse needs of the Deuba community.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the chairman of Suva City Council, Tevita Boseiwaqa, who was present to celebrate the occasion alongside prominent figures from the Damodar Group. The opening festivities included cake-cutting ceremonies and photo opportunities with the team, showcasing the camaraderie among the staff and local leaders.

Additionally, HBK’s expansion is indicative of their ongoing growth strategy, aimed at providing quality baked products around the clock. By establishing this new location, Hot Bread Kitchen is poised to strengthen its presence in the Fijian market while continuing to delight customers with a range of baked goods.

This new outlet not only adds to the vibrant culinary scene in Deuba but also represents a hopeful step forward in community engagement and economic development, supporting local jobs and fostering a sense of community hub for residents and visitors alike.
