The upcoming presidential debate is set to be a historic event, featuring the first direct confrontation between Vice President and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump. This debate may be the only opportunity for them to engage in an official setting.
The second debate of the 2024 United States Presidential Election, hosted by ABC News, will take place on September 10 at 8 p.m. Central Time in Philadelphia. This follows the initial debate held by CNN in late June in Atlanta, where Trump debated Biden, whose performance faced significant criticism. Following this, Biden withdrew from the race and endorsed Harris.
David Muir, the anchor of “World News Tonight,” along with Linsey Davis, anchor of ABC News Live “Prime,” will moderate the upcoming debate.
Trump has suggested the possibility of two more debates, scheduled for September 4 with Fox News and September 25 with NBC News, but the Harris campaign has yet to respond to these proposals.
Viewers will be able to watch the debate on ABC and stream it via ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu, as announced by the network.
