After a long hiatus of over ten years since her last studio album, Hilary Duff is gearing up to release new music. The pop singer shared the exciting news at Vogue World: Hollywood 2025 in Los Angeles, stating, “We’re getting something really soon.” Duff has been diligently working in the studio alongside her husband, Matthew Koma, and other talented collaborators, hinting that fans can expect to hear new material very shortly.
Having previously released her fifth studio album, “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” in June 2015, Duff expressed that returning to her musical roots had always been a priority. “I always knew I was going to return to music. I needed to feel safe and I needed to have the right people in my corner and be absolutely 100% ready,” she explained. The singer revealed that her new album reflects her growth over the past decade and promises to be an intimate insight into her thoughts and experiences. “This album feels like the inner workings of my brain, and I really am so excited to connect with people again on that level,” she added.
In September, Duff made waves by signing with Atlantic Records and announced the filming of a docuseries that will chronicle her journey back into music and her personal life. Directed and executive-produced by Sam Wrench—known for his work on projects like “A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter” and “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”—the docuseries aims to provide an in-depth look at Duff’s artistic revival.
While she remained tight-lipped about specifics of upcoming performances, Duff hinted at exciting developments saying, “All of the things are happening. I can’t give up too much information or everyone’s gonna kill me, but I am dancing and… everything’s in motion.” Notably, when fans expressed enthusiasm about her new work, particularly her gay fans, Duff smiled and remarked, “You know it’s all for them. It’s just to impress them.”
Recently, Duff turned heads at the Academy Museum Gala, wearing a stunning purple gown by Alberta Ferretti. Reflecting on her experience, she humorously shared, “That morning, I was at my daughter’s 7th birthday party on a farm, like in a dusty field. Everybody who worked on me were miracle workers. I basically took a bird bath in a hotel room and put that gorgeous gown on.”
With new music on the horizon, there is a renewed sense of excitement surrounding Hilary Duff’s creative journey, promising to connect with her fans in a meaningful way once again.
