The series, composed of seven episodes, will be available for streaming on HBO Max, with new episodes released weekly until its climactic finale on April 12, just ahead of the highly anticipated Season 3 premiere of “Euphoria.”

The premise of the series centers around a love triangle involving three middle-aged adults grappling with life’s challenges. Tension escalates dramatically when one member of the trio is found dead, transforming their mundane existence into a gripping thriller. The first trailer hints at this twist, showcasing Bateman’s character, Clark, asking, “I saw this thing, an app. DTF St. Louis… you meet these people so you can spice it up.” Harbour’s character, Floyd, looks perplexed as he questions, “What’s DTF?”

As the trailer unfolds, viewers get a peek into the characters’ lives, featuring comedic moments like Floyd swiping through an app filled with attractive women and Clark facing intense police scrutiny following Floyd’s death, highlighting the series’ blend of drama and dark humor.

Bateman, acclaimed for his work in “Ozark” and “Arrested Development,” brings his unique vision to this project, while Harbour revives his popularity after the final season of “Stranger Things.” Cardellini, known for her roles in “Bloodline” and the upcoming “Friday the 13th” series, rounds out this impressive cast which also includes Richard Jenkins, Joy Sunday, Arlan Ruf, Peter Sarsgaard, and Chris Perfetti.

The series is helmed by showrunner Steven Conrad, who takes on the roles of writer and director as well as executive producer. Alongside Bateman and Harbour, a team of producers—including Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch—join forces to bring this intriguing new series to life.

“DTF St. Louis” promises to captivate audiences with its mix of suspense, humor, and thoughtful exploration of relationships, making it one of the most anticipated new series of the upcoming HBO lineup. Fans can look forward to an engaging storyline that reflects both the challenges and complexities of modern adult life.
