Harry Styles has officially confirmed his highly anticipated return to music after a break of 1,336 days, exciting fans everywhere. The pop star has been teasing his comeback since December with cryptic messages, mysterious websites, and voice notes that conveyed the theme, “We belong together.”
His upcoming album, titled Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, is scheduled for release on March 6, 2024. This new project follows his critically acclaimed 2022 album, Harry’s House, which sold over four million copies and won Best Album at both the Grammy and Brit Awards.
Styles shared the details of his fourth studio album on social media, featuring a unique cover image of him under a disco ball in an open field wearing swimming goggles. The album is set to include 12 tracks and is executive produced by his longtime collaborator, Kid Harpoon. Though no new music has been released yet, fans received a brief voice note this past Wednesday that added to the excitement.
Pre-orders for the album have already begun and come in various formats such as vinyl, CD, and an exclusive box set that includes a limited edition film camera.
Harry Styles has been a key player in the UK music scene since he was sixteen, rising to fame on The X Factor where he was placed in the boyband One Direction alongside Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik. Although the group finished third in the competition, they quickly ascended to global fame with hits like What Makes You Beautiful and Story of My Life, boosted by a dedicated fanbase nurtured in the early days of internet culture.
After One Direction’s hiatus, Styles pursued a solo career that, despite some mixed reviews initially, began to flourish. His debut single, Sign Of The Times, debuted at number one largely due to his established stardom. However, it was his sophomore album, Fine Line, that truly cemented his status as a musical powerhouse, featuring chart-topping tracks like Adore You and Watermelon Sugar.
His last album, Harry’s House, was particularly praised for its blend of 1970s soft rock and 80s new wave, highlighted by the hit single As It Was. Styles capped off a remarkable 22-month world tour, Love On Tour, known for its inviting atmosphere created by both the artist and his fans. The tour concluded in July 2023 at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Italy, with a stunning performance attended by over 100,000 fans.
With each new release, Harry Styles continues to grow and innovate as an artist, generating excitement among fans for this next thrilling chapter in his musical career.
