Halsey is set to commemorate the 10th anniversary of her debut album, BADLANDS, with a series of special releases. The celebrations will include the BADLANDS DECADE EDITION, BADLANDS: LIVE FROM WEBSTER HALL, and BADLANDS: ANTHOLOGY vinyl, all scheduled for release on August 29, 2025, via UMe/Astralwerks/Capitol Records.
This milestone follows Halsey’s successful “FOR MY LAST TRICK” tour, which has been hailed as the best-selling tour of her career, with Variety describing it as “one of the most ambitious pop tours of the year.” Reflecting on the album’s significance, Halsey expressed her astonishment at reaching the decade mark and her appreciation for the journey that BADLANDS has provided. “So much has happened in the last decade, but BADLANDS remains the most exciting musical journey of my life,” she shared.
BADLANDS, which debuted on August 28, 2015, solidified Halsey’s place in music history. The album achieved TRIPLE PLATINUM status and has sold over 3 million adjusted copies in the U.S., with more than 9 billion streams globally. Notably, every song on the album has earned RIAA certification of gold, platinum, or multi-platinum—a rare accomplishment in the music industry. Critics praised the album upon its release, with ROLLING STONE referring to Halsey as “your new favorite pop star” and BILLBOARD recognizing it as the “start of the journey.”
The BADLANDS: ANTHOLOGY will be a triple disc vinyl edition, featuring orchestral versions, previously unreleased demos, official remixes, and rare tracks, essentially sharing Halsey’s complete origin story. Additionally, BADLANDS – Live From Webster Hall, Halsey’s first live album, will be released as a 2LP on color vinyl, capturing her memorable 2019 performance at Webster Hall.
As excitement builds for the anniversary celebration, fans can look forward to Halsey’s thoughtful retrospection of the past decade and her continuously evolving artistry. This commemoration not only celebrates a monumental album but also highlights the strong bond Halsey has cultivated with her fans over the years.
