Hailee Steinfeld, who is on the verge of welcoming her first child with husband Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, chose not to attend the Actor Awards, which took place recently. This decision likely stems from her imminent due date as she prepares for motherhood.
In a recent newsletter, Steinfeld reflected on her journey leading up to becoming a parent. She shared insights about the introspection she has experienced, noting, “The most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it.” She expressed a sense of excitement and wonder as she contemplates her future as a mom and imagines the moments they will share as a family. “I’ve experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways,” she wrote, capturing the joy and anticipation that accompany her pregnancy.
Steinfeld made her last public appearance at the Golden Globes, where she showcased her baby bump in a stunning pink Prada gown and Repossi jewelry. During the Globes, she attended without Allen, who was competing in a playoff game that night.
Josh Allen has also shared his thoughts on becoming a father, emphasizing that while preparation is important, much of parenthood will be a learning experience. He expressed his excitement about stepping into this new role alongside Steinfeld, stating, “It’s something that I will take with great pride. And we’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else.”
As the couple awaits their new addition, both Steinfeld and Allen reflect the joyous anticipation that comes with expecting a child, emphasizing love, growth, and the beauty of family.
