H-E-B has announced that its stores in Central Texas will maintain regular business hours over the weekend, despite severe winter weather forecasted to bring freezing temperatures and ice to the region. The grocery retailer, known for its reliability during crises, has outlined some adjustments to store hours to ensure the safety of employees and customers.

In a recent statement, H-E-B confirmed that selected stores would have modified hours, operating from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday in the Austin area, including Central Markets. On Sunday, stores will open at 9 a.m. There may also be limited availability for curbside and home delivery orders, with the company pledging to do its utmost to fulfill all existing orders and informing customers of any changes.

Heidi Post, H-E-B’s senior director of public affairs for the Central Texas region, highlighted that the stores are equipped with generators to maintain operations during extreme conditions. The company takes proactive measures to prepare for such weather events, ensuring that stores are supplied with products to meet customer needs. Throughout this period, deliveries and restocking will continue to ensure shelves remain stocked.

In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, selected H-E-B locations will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, while stores in the Houston metro area will operate from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the same day. Customers are encouraged to check specific hours for stores in their areas, as schedules may vary.
