A woman has come forward recounting a disturbing encounter with Nathaniel Radimak, a man notorious for his road rage incidents, during her gym visit at Planet Fitness Kahala on Good Friday. Speaking anonymously due to safety concerns, she described the moment when Radimak confronted her while she was working out, demanding that she not walk past his machine.
The confrontation escalated quickly, with Radimak allegedly threatening to assault her. The woman recorded the incident on her phone as he swung at her, missing and startling nearby gym-goers. “It happened so quick. I saw him getting close to me so I was automatically, I guess in defense mode,” she explained.
After the encounter, the woman recognized Radimak from news stories about his criminal history that includes road rage attacks in Southern California. He had received a five-year sentence for those incidents but was released on parole after ten months. His recent actions in Hawaii included an alleged assault on two women on May 7, where he confronted them while they were parked. Security footage captured aspects of the assault, showcasing his aggressive behavior.
Following a court appearance regarding unrelated traffic charges, Radimak has now been charged with three felonies related to the May 7 attack. As of now, he remains in custody with a bail set at $100,000, and there are questions about potential extradition back to California for parole violation.
The woman hopes for justice, stating, “I wanted him to be caught and I did not want him to hurt another woman… it was going to happen again if no one did anything.” Radimak’s upcoming court date on the felony charges is set for Thursday, and this case underscores the importance of addressing aggressive behavior before it leads to further violence.
