Guns N’ Roses, the iconic rock band that has left an indelible mark on the music scene, is gearing up to make a highly anticipated return to the United States in 2025. After a hiatus from domestic performances since November 2023, the band is set to embark on a U.S. tour next year, according to founding guitarist Slash.
In a recent interview on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation, Slash confirmed plans for the tour, stating, “I can say, we’re definitely doing a U.S. run next year.” He hinted at an official announcement coming soon, expressing excitement about returning to the States after a series of international shows throughout 2026. The band kicked off their global tour in Incheon, South Korea, on May 1, 2025.
In addition to touring, Guns N’ Roses is also working on new music. Slash revealed to Guitar World that the band has a wealth of material ready for a new album, and he assured fans that new releases are on the horizon.
The band’s previous tour, the “Not in This Lifetime Tour,” was a monumental success that ran from 2016 to 2019. It marked the much-anticipated reunion of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan on stage, a feat some fans had deemed impossible. What started with a surprise show in Los Angeles quickly escalated into a massive global tour, culminating in an impressive total of 175 shows across 41 countries and drawing in approximately 5.37 million fans. The tour grossed around $584 million, making it one of the highest-grossing tours in history.
The seamless execution of the tour was a testament to the band’s dedication, with around 250 crew members ensuring everything from sound checks to stage design ran smoothly. A setlist that blended classic hits and newer tracks created an unforgettable experience for attendees, further solidifying the band’s status as rock legends.
With the prospect of new music and a U.S. tour on the horizon, Guns N’ Roses is poised to keep exciting their fan base. As they prepare to relive their glory days and share upcoming tracks, the enthusiasm surrounding the band remains palpable. The world is eagerly waiting to witness the return of Axl, Slash, and Duff, proving that their legacy continues to thrive and resonate with fans of all generations.
