Mark Wahlberg has provided a positive update regarding his daughter Grace, who is recovering after being hospitalized due to an arm injury sustained during an equestrian competition. The 15-year-old was admitted to the hospital over a week ago, but according to her father, she is now doing well.
In an interview with E! News alongside his The Family Plan 2 co-star Michelle Monaghan, Mark expressed relief over Grace’s progress, stating, “She’s doing good. It was very scary. She’s very brave. She’s tough.” He highlighted her determination to return to her beloved sport, noting that she is eager to “literally get back on the horse.”
Mark, who also has three other children—Ella, 22, Michael, 19, and Brendan, 17—shared his concerns as a parent while acknowledging Grace’s passion for equestrian riding. “Always nerve-wracking when she’s jumping, especially as she goes up in height quite often,” he mentioned. Despite the inherent risks associated with the sport, Grace has been riding professionally for years and remains undeterred.
This situation underscores not only Grace’s bravery but also her commitment to pursuing her passion, a strong testament to her character and resilience. As she continues to recover, the family looks forward to seeing her back in the saddle, reflecting a hopeful outlook that resonates with many families who support their children’s dreams.
