Gleora Davis, formerly of Hingham, MA; Westbrook, CT; and Glastonbury, CT, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Karam, her daughter Jill Davis Kinney, and her former husband Robert Phelon.

Gleora is survived by her beloved son Neal Phelon, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Linda Budd and Patricia Ekman, along with many dear friends, including the Kinney family, to whom she was particularly grateful.

Growing up along the picturesque New England shore fostered Gleora’s lifelong passion for boating and the ocean. Her educational pursuits included attendance at Thayer Academy and Forsyth Dental School, reflecting her strong curiosity and dedication to learning. An avid golfer, she especially treasured the camaraderie and laughter shared with friends on the course.

Living by the belief that “Life was a present — untie the ribbon,” Gleora embodied a philosophy filled with appreciation for family, friendship, and the simple joys of life. She will be remembered for her exceptional baking skills, warmth, spirited personality, and the love she shared freely with those around her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Wednesday, January 21, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Mulryan Funeral Home located at 725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury.
