Get Ready: PS5 Pro Preorders Kick Off Ahead of Holiday Rush!

Sony has started taking preorders for its new PlayStation 5 Pro video game console ahead of its official release on November 7. With the holiday season approaching, potential buyers are encouraged to seize this preorder opportunity as inventory is expected to be limited.

The PS5 Pro is priced at $700, and those wishing to secure a unit will find that Sony’s website currently has a virtual waiting room with wait times exceeding one hour for preorders. Consumers can also place preorders through Best Buy. To preorder directly from Sony, a free PlayStation Network account is required.

The new console features advanced AI technology that delivers enhanced 4K resolution for a visually stunning gaming experience. It is designed to support 4K TVs and monitors with refresh rates of 60Hz and 120Hz, and it includes advanced ray tracing capabilities to enhance shadows, reflections, and overall visual quality, ensuring smoother gameplay.

The PS5 Pro boasts 2TB of storage and improved wireless connectivity, alongside the immersive DualSense wireless controller, which features haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Additionally, for those with 8K TVs or monitors, the PS5 Pro is fully compatible through an HDMI 2.1 port.

Although the PS5 Pro will be able to play all PS4 and PS5 games, a selection of titles specifically optimized for the new console is in development, including popular games such as “The Last of Us Part I,” “The Last of Us Part II,” “Demon’s Souls,” “Gran Turismo 7,” and “Horizon Forbidden West.”
