New York, NY – August 20, 2024 – 2K and Gearbox Software have officially unveiled that Borderlands® 4, the latest installment in the renowned looter-shooter series, is set to be released in 2025 during Take-Two’s Fiscal Year 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation®5 (PS5®), Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and fans can now add it to their wishlist.
The announcement came during gamescom’s Opening Night Live, featuring a teaser trailer that offered a sneak peek at a brand-new planet. Borderlands 4 will serve as the fourth main title and seventh overall entry in the series, allowing players to once again take on the role of a legendary Vault Hunter in their quest for hidden alien treasures while combating a variety of enemies.
