DC readers are invited to a complimentary early screening of “Karate Kid: Legends,” featuring renowned actors Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, and Ben Wang, and directed by Jonathan Entwistle.

The plot centers on a kung fu prodigy named Li Fong (played by Ben Wang) who moves to New York City with his mother to enroll in a prestigious school. There, he forms a bond with a friend and her father but soon faces challenges from a local karate champion. Seeking to defend himself, Li embarks on a mission to participate in a significant karate tournament, training under the guidance of Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) and the legendary Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).
