Gamescom, one of the year’s highlights for gamers, has kicked off successfully with its much-anticipated Opening Night Live showcase, previewing what the gaming world has in store. Last year’s event featured exciting announcements like Mortal Kombat 1, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and a new Diablo 4 season, but this year’s event promises to be even more thrilling.

Borderlands 4 was unveiled with a reveal trailer that marks its return. Series developer Gearbox aim to refresh attention following the recent release of the Borderlands movie. Specifics about gameplay and features remain under wraps, but we can confirm it will be released in 2025.
In addition, Techland introduced Dying Light: The Beast, a smaller-scale game offering about 20 hours of gameplay in a new open-world environment filled with parkour and zombies.
