The show, created by Connor Hines, marks the first edition of an anthology series that delves into iconic true love stories, centering on the romance between JFK Jr. (played by Paul Kelly) and Carolyn Bessette (played by Sarah Pidgeon). The narrative will highlight their seemingly fairytale relationship, their wedding, and the challenges they faced under the intense scrutiny of the media, ultimately leading to their tragic end in a plane crash off the Massachusetts coast.

Notable cast members also include Naomi Watts as JFK Jr.’s mother, Jackie Kennedy Onassis; Grace Gummer as Caroline Kennedy; Alessandro Nivola as fashion designer Calvin Klein; and Omari K. Chancellor as fellow designer Gordon Henderson.

“Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette” is set to consist of nine episodes and is scheduled to premiere on February 12 on FX. The series is produced by 20th Television in partnership with Ryan Murphy Television and features an executive production team that includes Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, and several others. Max Winkler will direct the pilot episode.

Bergen is currently known for his significant stage work, including his recent performance in “Boop! The Betty Boop Musical” and his portrayal of Bob Gaudio in “Jersey Boys.” Nathanson’s recent credits include his roles in popular series and films, such as “The Punisher,” “The Knick,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Both actors continue to build their careers in the entertainment industry, with Bergen leading his own production company and Nathanson spearheading the podcast “Playing Dead.”
