ADEL, Ga. – A significant law enforcement operation has resulted in the arrest of Stanley Henderson, a funeral home operator from South Georgia, who faces multiple serious felony charges related to child sex offenses. The charges against Henderson include two counts of felony computer pornography, two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one count of child molestation, two counts of aggravated sexual battery, one count of trafficking for labor or sexual servitude, and one misdemeanor count of operating a funeral business without the necessary compliance.

The investigation began in June when the Adel Police Department received a tip regarding Henderson’s questionable operation of his funeral home without the appropriate credentials, including a valid business license. Following the tip, a search warrant was executed, leading to the seizure of several electronic devices. Forensic analysis conducted by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office revealed troubling pornographic images involving an underage individual.

Henderson was apprehended without incident in Lawrenceville, aided by the FLOCK camera database. He is currently detained at the Cook County Jail and has been denied bond. Authorities have indicated that additional charges may arise as the investigation continues.

This case not only highlights the importance of community vigilance in reporting suspicious activities but also underscores the collaborative efforts of various law enforcement agencies in safeguarding children from potential abuse. It serves as a reminder that the protection of vulnerable populations is paramount, and communities must remain proactive in addressing such serious issues.
