Minister Sashi Kiran delivered essential catering supplies to YADRA Enterprises, an organization devoted to supporting vulnerable street youths through care, skills training, and employment opportunities.
The handover ceremony highlighted the positive outcomes of rehabilitation efforts, showcasing former street dwellers who are now integral members of the workforce in Nadi, while also serving as mentors to other at-risk youths. YADRA, established by Selita Saula, operates a small roadside food business that alleviates basic living expenses and teaches crucial lessons in discipline, responsibility, and basic business skills. The organization’s recent formal registration allows it to pursue additional funding and strengthen its support systems.
Minister Kiran commended Saula for her unwavering commitment, underlining the importance of grassroots initiatives in protecting vulnerable youth and promoting community safety.
