Laisani Blake, the newly crowned Punjas Fiji Miss Tebara 2025, feels a deep sense of honor and responsibility in her new role. The 22-year-old nurse from Vunimono, Tailevu, is recognized not only for her vibrant personality but also for her compassion and grace, which have shone brightly both in hospital wards and on the carnival stage during her crowning ceremony.

Blake expressed her excitement upon receiving the title, describing it as a surreal experience. She candidly shared that the journey to the crown was filled with challenges that tested her both mentally and emotionally. “Showing up on stage and striving to meet my sponsor’s expectations as well as those of my family and supporters was taxing at times. There were moments when I felt drained and would sulk in my room, but the strength of prayer was what drove me through,” she revealed.

Reflecting on the demanding nature of the pageant, Blake acknowledged that the experience has been instrumental in her personal growth. “I’m grateful for everything I went through because it taught me a lot and shaped me into who I am today,” she noted.

As she looks ahead, Ms. Blake is eager to return to her work as a nurse at the Nausori Health Centre. She also shared an empowering message for youth, highlighting the importance of making wise choices in life. “We cannot control the circumstances we face, but we can control our choices. Bad choices lead to regrets, while good choices lead to rewards. The choice you make now shapes your future, so choose wisely.”

Blake’s journey emphasizes resilience and the importance of personal accountability, serving as an inspiration for many young individuals seeking to navigate their paths in life.
