A teacher from Frisco, Texas, has been arrested following allegations of physically assaulting a student. Patricia Kemper, 54, who works at McSpedden Elementary School, was taken into custody by the Frisco Police Department after the school district reported the incident.
The investigation began after Frisco ISD alerted local authorities about the assault claims. In a swift response, the Frisco Police Department launched a criminal investigation in partnership with the school district. This inquiry culminated in Kemper being charged with Injury to a Child, which is classified as a third-degree felony. This charge can lead to a sentence of two to ten years in prison and fines reaching up to $10,000.
Kemper voluntarily surrendered to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week after charges were formally filed against her.
