Fresno’s Boots in the Park concert series is set to undergo an exciting transformation this fall, featuring a unique pairing of musical genres. Held at Woodward Park, the event will showcase country superstar Blake Shelton on September 13, followed by a night of high-energy entertainment with global icon Pitbull headlining the “Party in the Park” on September 14.
As the original home of the Boots in the Park events, Fresno has welcomed major country music acts in recent years, including Kane Brown, Sam Hunt, Jason Aldean, and Jordan Davis. This year, Blake Shelton, boasting 11.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, continues this trend, with his album “For Recreational Use Only” released in May marking his return to the country music scene after releasing a Christmas album in 2022.
Pitbull, known as “Mr. Worldwide,” brings his own star power to the event, having an impressive record of chart-topping hits, including four songs with over a billion streams on Spotify such as “Timber” and “Give Me Everything.” Both artists have previously performed in Fresno in 2024 at the Save Mart Center, noting a friendly familiarity with the area.
In a thrilling twist, it remains uncertain whether Pitbull and Shelton will combine their talents for a joint performance following their collaboration on the 2020 track “Get Ready.”
Tickets for this exciting weekend are currently available on the Boots in the Park website, with prices for general admission single-day tickets starting at $99 and weekend passes at $199. VIP options are also available at $249 for single-day or $449 for weekend passes.
This concert series promises to be a vibrant mix of country and pop, appealing to a wide range of music lovers and creating an enjoyable atmosphere. The blending of these two musical styles showcases the evolving landscape of live entertainment, emphasizing a spirit of unity through music.
