MiBus has announced the provision of 20 free metrobuses to transport fans from the El Crisol Metro station to the Rommel Fernández Stadium for tonight’s match between Panama and Nicaragua in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers. Each bus can accommodate around 80 passengers, ensuring a significant number of supporters can attend the game.
Despite Panama already securing a place in the next round, enthusiasm for this final group stage match is high, as it will determine the top position in Group D. Tickets for the game have sold out, demonstrating the passionate support from fans.
In addition to the transportation arrangements, the police have deployed 690 units to ensure safety during the event. They have emphasized that certain items, including firearms, sharp objects like umbrellas, and glass bottles, will not be allowed inside the stadium to maintain a secure environment for all attendees.
The free bus service began at 4:00 p.m. from El Crisol, making a stop at La Birra, and will continue until 7:30 p.m. After the game, buses will return fans back to El Crisol from the east exit of the stadium near the casino. This arrangement aims to reduce traffic congestion caused by personal vehicles, promoting a smoother experience for fans.
This initiative by MiBus not only facilitates access to the match for fans but also contributes to a safer and more organized event, showcasing the community spirit and enthusiasm surrounding Panama’s soccer journey.
