FOX News is making significant changes to its leadership structure and expanding its focus on digital audio, signaling a strategic shift in how it engages with audiences. Porter Berry, who serves as FOX News Digital President and Editor-in-Chief, has taken on additional responsibilities by overseeing the New Media division. This move aims to enhance the editorial strategy across FOX’s digital platforms, social media, and podcast offerings.

Reporting to FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott, Berry’s role encompasses leadership in the growing realms of digital content and opinion podcasts, highlighting the network’s response to the evolving media landscape. Meanwhile, Jay Wallace, President and Executive Editor of FOX News Media, will continue to manage overall digital operations.

John Sylvester remains the Senior Vice President for FOX News Audio, ensuring the editorial integrity and production quality across news podcasts, FOX News Radio, and the SiriusXM FOX News Headlines channel.

Additionally, FOX News has entered into a licensing agreement with the popular Ruthless podcast, hosted by Josh Holmes, Michael Duncan, John Ashbrook, and Shashank Tripathi. This collaboration aligns with FOX’s emphasis on political commentary combined with engaging satire, broadening its reach within the podcasting sphere.

Berry expressed enthusiasm for his expanded role, stating, “I am honored to step into the New Media role and advance Suzanne’s bold vision across digital, social, and podcasting. As the creator economy continues to evolve — a spirit that Ruthless has championed from the start — we are expanding our reach to meet audiences wherever they engage with FOX News Media content, which remains in a league of its own.”

These developments reflect a positive direction for FOX News as it adapts to new media trends, enhancing its position in the digital and audio landscape amidst a demanding market. This move not only aims to attract a larger audience but also illustrates FOX’s commitment to content innovation in a competitive environment.
