The Foo Fighters are set to electrify fans with their upcoming stadium tour, which includes a highly anticipated concert at Ford Field on August 6, 2026. This performance is poised to be the band’s most significant show in Detroit to date. Joining them for the night will be the renowned opener Queens of the Stone Age.

This tour, comprising 12 cities, was officially announced on October 23, with Detroit serving as the second stop following the tour’s opening night in Toronto on August 4. Fans eager to secure their spots can purchase tickets starting at 10 a.m. on October 31 through Ticketmaster. Additionally, there is currently a presale registration available, which opens at 10 a.m. on October 29.

Accompanying the tour announcement is the release of the Foo Fighters’ new single, “Asking for a Friend,” which Dave Grohl describes as “a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear.”

This show marks the band’s return to Detroit, their first performance since an October 2018 concert at Little Caesars Arena. Ford Field is becoming a hotspot for major events, as it will also welcome Ed Sheeran on August 29 as part of his Loop Tour next summer.
