The FMF Inter District Championship 2025 has seen an unexpected shift in its Premier Division competition format, adopting a round-robin system following the suspension of two clubs. The said clubs failed to comply with the requirement of organizing their Regional Club Leagues, a critical condition under the Fiji FA’s regulations. Consequently, the competition has been left with four formidable teams: Nasinu FC, Tavua FC, Tailevu Naitasiri, and Seaqaqa FC. Nasinu, despite finishing ninth in the Extra Premier League, and Tavua, despite being at the bottom, now join the top contenders from the Extra Senior League.
In this new round-robin format, each team will face the others once, with the two highest-ranking teams progressing directly to the final.
