A significant fire has erupted at the Tri-Dees Spare Parts facility located at Beddoes Circle in Namaka, Nadi. Emergency responders from the National Fire Authority (NFA) and Fiji Airports have been engaging in firefighting efforts for over an hour. The response includes three NFA trucks along with a unit from Fiji Airports.

Reports indicate that the fire may have originated near the building’s generator. This facility functions as the head office and warehouse for the company, housing stock valued at more than one million dollars. An employee present at the scene expressed shock but refrained from further comments regarding the incident.

In light of the fire, authorities are advising the public to steer clear of the area, and motorists are recommended to avoid the vicinity for safety reasons.
