The Kaunikuila Basketball Club made a significant impact during their recent tour in New Caledonia, showcasing their talent against local teams. The team participated in the annual tournament hosted by the Olympic De Nouméa Basketball Club, where they achieved commendable results.

Ben Nasau, the president of Kaunikuila, reported that the girls’ team finished third in the 5×5 competition and secured second place in the 3×3 format. Meanwhile, the boys’ team also demonstrated their skills, finishing in second place in both competitions.

Nasau expressed immense pride in the team’s accomplishments, stating that the tour represents a landmark achievement for the Kaunikuila Basketball Club and for basketball development in Fiji.
