Bainivalu described the new graduates as trailblazers, acknowledging their roles in Automotive Electrical and Electronics, Automotive Mechanical Engineering, Carpentry, Plumbing & Sheet Metal, and Electrical Fitter Mechanic. She praised their achievements, noting that they have shattered glass ceilings and demonstrated that competence knows no gender.

During the celebration, Bainivalu encouraged the graduates to strive for excellence grounded in integrity, character, and faith. She urged them to find a balance between their professional aspirations and family life while preserving Fijian culture and making positive contributions to the nation. The event marks a significant step forward in promoting gender equality in the workforce and demonstrates the capabilities of women in diverse professional roles.
