Eroni Bole, a prominent figure in Fiji’s tourism sector, was recently honored as the 2025 Cultural Tourism Champion during the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards, showcasing the spirit of Fijian hospitality. Mr. Bole, known for his bright smile and traditional attire, embodies the essence of Fiji’s Bula spirit, which plays a significant role in attracting visitors from around the world.

Expressing his gratitude for the recognition, Mr. Bole stated, “It is a great honor to be acknowledged. This is something that we do every day. We understand that tourism is the biggest industry that supports every being that we have, and I never take that for granted.” He emphasized the importance of Fijian culture and heritage in drawing people to the islands, highlighting that these unique elements are pivotal in making Fiji a desirable destination.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Bole thanked God for blessing the Fijian people with the talent for hospitality and expressed appreciation for the support of his colleagues at Rosie Holidays, including Tony Whitton, Brigid, General Manager Eroni Puamau, and Director of Operations Sunil Kumar. He acknowledged that his award represents not only his efforts but the collective work of every tourism frontliner throughout Fiji—from airline staff to hotel employees and tour operators.
