The Fiji Baby Pearls faced their third defeat at the Netball World Youth Cup held in Gibraltar, with a loss to Samoa in the semi-finals for placements between 9th and 12th. The final score was 71-53. Although the Baby Pearls had a strong start and kept the game competitive with a halftime score of 35-24 favoring Samoa, they struggled to maintain their momentum in the second half. Samoa managed to extend their lead by scoring an additional 36 points, while the Baby Pearls scored 29.
