The Fiji Airways Fijiana team achieved a commendable seventh place finish at the Perth 7s, concluding the tournament with an impressive 41–5 win against the Great Britain women’s 7s in the seventh-place playoff. This victory showcased the team’s skill and determination on the field.
Head coach Richard Walker highlighted the strong team bonding as one of the significant positives from the tournament. Despite facing challenges in their pool matches, Walker noted that the squad delivered their best performance during the playoff rounds.
