Students at Sabeto Sangam School, located just outside Nadi, received an exciting visit from Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players Inia Tabuavou, Iosefo Namoce, and Kavaia Tagivetaua. The visit provided the young fans with a chance to meet their sports idols in person after regularly seeing them featured in television advertisements and local billboards.

The players’ visit was made possible through a collaboration with their sponsors, Punjas, as part of an initiative to promote their product line. This engagement is part of the Drua team’s broader outreach efforts as they prepare for their upcoming match against Moana Pasifika in the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition, scheduled for this Saturday in Lautoka.

During their time at the school, the Drua trio held various rugby exercises, including passing, kicking, and line-outs, while stressing the importance of teamwork to the students. Although these players will not be included in the match-day 23 for the game against Moana Pasifika, their presence undoubtedly left a positive impact on the aspiring young athletes.

The interaction not only spreads enthusiasm for rugby but also encourages a sense of community and inspiration among the children as they look to their local heroes.
