The Ministry of Education in Fiji has revealed the provisional results for the Year 13 Certificate Examination, reporting a remarkable national pass rate of 95 percent. Education Minister Aseri Radrodro announced that 8,646 students participated in this year’s exam, reflecting an increase from the previous year.

The pass rate has shown a notable improvement from last year’s 89 percent, highlighting the commitment and hard work of students throughout the academic year. Minister Radrodro congratulated all students who successfully passed, emphasizing that these results affirm their diligence.

Particularly impressive is the performance of secondary schools nationwide, with 50 schools achieving a perfect pass rate. This is a significant jump from only 10 schools that reached this milestone in the prior year, underscoring the collaborative efforts of educators and students focused on achieving excellence.

Radrodro expressed his appreciation to school leaders, teachers, and parents for their steadfast support and dedication to enabling student success. He also reminded students that those wishing to request a recount or remark on their examination results have a 30-day period to do so.

This year’s examination results not only celebrate the achievements of students but also reflect a growing commitment to education in Fiji, suggesting an encouraging trend for future academic pursuits.
