Year 12 students in Fiji recorded a pass rate of 74 percent in the 2025 Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination, reflecting a minor decrease from 76 percent in 2024. The Ministry of Education announced this figure ahead of the provisional results set to be released tomorrow, with 12,020 students participating in the examination last year.

Education Minister Aseri Radrodro praised the students for their dedication and resilience throughout the academic year. He emphasized the significant role played by teachers, school leaders, parents, guardians, and school management committees in supporting students’ achievements.

This year, five schools attained a commendable 100 percent pass rate, an increase from four schools that reached this achievement in 2024. The institutions that excelled include Nadarivatu High, Levuka Public School, Rabi High School, Valebasoga Secondary School, and Duavata Secondary School. Furthermore, five government schools showed improved performance, highlighting advancements in teaching and learning across Fiji. These schools include Levuka Public, Queen Victoria School, Sila Central College, Suva Grammar School, and Nasinu Secondary School.

Students eager to view their results can access the provisional results online at www.examresults.gov.fj using their Examination Code Number and personal login details. For those without internet access, results can also be collected directly from their schools or local District Education Offices.

Additionally, students wishing to request a recount or remark have a 30-day period to submit their applications to the Examinations and Assessment Office located at Gohil Building or at their nearest District Education Office. Minister Radrodro encouraged students and parents to partake responsibly in this process, reaffirming a commitment to continuous improvements in educational standards across Fiji. This slight dip in the overall pass rate coupled with the successes of individual schools presents an opportunity for growth and development in the education sector.
