The Fiji Rugby Union is set to launch exciting travel packages for fans wishing to support the Fiji Water Flying Fijians in the upcoming Nations Championship in the Northern Hemisphere. FRU Chair John Sanday announced that the organization is currently collaborating with sponsors to develop attractive air travel options for both local supporters and international fans.
This Nations Championship will be a significant milestone as it marks the first time Fiji participates in a fully organized international series of this scale. Sanday has warmly invited supporters from both hemispheres to turn out in large numbers to back the team during this important occasion.
“We are in discussions with some of our sponsors and travel agents to get fans’ packages along with tickets, and that will be announced very soon. We want as many fans possible to support our boys,” he mentioned.
The championship is set to begin on July 4, with Fiji squaring off against the Wales national rugby union team in Cardiff. Following this, the team will have a home match against England on July 11, and then travel to Edinburgh to face Scotland at Murrayfield Stadium on July 18.
This initiative reflects the growing enthusiasm for rugby in Fiji and emphasizes the vital role of fan participation as the Fiji Water Flying Fijians strive to make a notable impact on the global rugby stage. Enthusiastic fans can anticipate an exhilarating series and a chance to unite in support of their team during this landmark championship event.
