Fiji Warriors Win Charity Rugby Match for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Fiji Warriors achieved an impressive 36-19 victory against the Australian Stockman Country team at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Thursday. The match not only showcased the Warriors’ sporting capabilities but also served a greater purpose, as proceeds from the game were donated to the Fiji Cancer Society in support of cancer awareness.

The visiting Australian side opened the scoring early in the game. However, Fiji quickly responded with two tries from Apimeleki Nasalo and Sefanaia Tokaduadua, taking a 12-7 lead into halftime. In the second half, the Warriors displayed greater control and determination. Nasalo and Tokaduadua were again instrumental, further bolstering Fiji’s score alongside Inoke Ravauiwasa, who also managed to cross the try line. Paul Dolokoto, making his presence felt off the bench, sprinted for Fiji’s fourth try, while Josh Uluibau added another in the 70th minute. Sevuloni Tawake rounded off the scoring for the Warriors, securing the decisive win.
