The cassava-based coating has shown effectiveness in preserving fruits such as mangoes, notably reducing spoilage caused by fruit flies. Professor Rohindra shared insights on the coating’s effectiveness, particularly for tropical produce that typically experiences limited shelf life and challenges in transport.
