Fiji Unveils 2025 National Club Championship, Spotlight on Grassroots Talent

The 2025 National Club Championship was officially unveiled today in Suva, promising an exciting season for grassroots football in Fiji. Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Yusuf announced that the tournament will highlight exceptional talent from both the southern and northern divisions, with several top clubs expected to make significant progress in the competition.

Yusuf underscored the competitiveness of the pools, particularly noting the strength of teams in the Southern Division. He anticipates that at least two or three of the strongest teams will qualify for the next round. The Northern Division will feature formidable clubs such as Northpole FC and the Taveuni team, who are also vying for advancement.

Although the location for the final rounds is yet to be determined due to logistical challenges, Yusuf expressed his sincere appreciation to the sponsors supporting grassroots football in Fiji. He specifically acknowledged Daryl Sawmillers and Mr. Pranil Dayal for their generous contributions and unwavering commitment to promoting the sport’s development.
